The simplest your marketing has ever felt.

Conversion copywriting and practical marketing strategy for health, wellness, and service-based businesses that need clearer messaging, smarter SEO, and fewer marketing decisions living in their heads. Because in a world that keeps telling you to do more, be more, post more...

Simple is the smartest strategy of all.

You do not need to do everything. You need to do what matters most.

You don’t need more marketing ideas - that's the whole problem.

You need marketing that makes more sense. You want someone to look at your specific business and just tell you what to focus on and what to ignore - and why it matters. Have you ever thought:

  • I know what I do. I’m just not sure my audience totally gets it.”

  • “I have a website, but I don’t know if it’s working as well as it should be.”

  • “I know I’m supposed to send regular emails, but what am I supposed to say every week?”

  • “I’m tracking all these numbers, but which ones actually matter?”

  • “A new platform pops up every day…which ones should I be on?”

  • “None of this is technically hard…I should be able to figure it out myself.”

(That last one is the trap. None of this is hard because you’re incapable. It’s hard because you’re trying to make strategic decisions about your own business while also running the day-to-day. That’s a lot….no wonder your brain has seventeen tabs open at all times).

Good marketing should feel like a deep exhale

I help your best-fit clients find you, understand exactly what you do, and feel confident enough to reach out. That happens through SEO copywriting: clear, search-friendly website and content copy built around what your ideal clients are already looking for.

SEO helps them get to your site. Conversion copy helps them know they’re in the right place. For a small business, you need both. Otherwise, you end up with traffic that doesn’t turn into inquiries, or pretty words no one ever finds.

This means I don’t waste time on vanity metrics, posting just to post, over-engineered dashboards, or generic AI copy that sounds like it was cobbled together in a sad beige conference room.

Instead, we’ll focus on the few key things that actually move your business forward and then do those things really well…so that it’s a no-brainer for people to go from “I found you” to “I need to work with you.”

Think of me as Marie Kondo for your small business marketing…

We keep what creates clarity, trust, and $$, then let the rest go.

How we can work together

I’m a 5-foot unicorn of marketing strategy, copywriting, SEO structure, and common-sense implementation, without the tech-bro vocabulary or the monster dashboard you’ll never open again.

  • The smart place to start.

This is a thorough review of your current marketing “ecosystem” (website, social, SEO, etc) - even if you don’t think you really have one yet. I’m not just going to hand you a 40-page data dump where everything is somehow “urgent” but also vague. Instead, you’ll get a simple, succinct roadmap of what to fix first and why; what can wait; what you can ignore altogether; and how each fix connects to leads, inquiries, bookings, trust, or revenue…all in plain English with actionable steps. The audit is useful on its own. You can take it and handle the fixes yourself, or use it as the starting point for deeper support with me.

  • Custom scope | For when the words need work

If your website feels like it’s shouting into the void, we’ll fix the words and the structure so the right people can actually discover you, understand what you do, and feel confident enough to reach out. This can include a refresh of website pages, service pages, blogs, email newsletters, or content strategy built around what your best-fit clients are currently searching for. The goal is a copy that sounds like you; makes sense to your clients; is structured clearly for Google; connects your services to real client needs; and moves people toward the next step without sounding pushy or fake.

  • Custom scope | For when you need the words AND the thing actually built

Sometimes the copy is only half the problem. You also need the email platform set up, the SEO basics handled, the content workflow organized, or the system built so the plan can actually run. This is where I help with the practical backend pieces, like:

    • Email platform setup, such as FloDesk or Mailchimp

    • Google Analytics and Google Search Console basics

    • SEO page setup and metadata

    • Content planning systems

    • Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or other social media scheduling tools

    • Simple workflows your future self will not hate

    • Short Loom walkthroughs or SOPs so you or your team can maintain it

This is a good fit if you do not want to be handed a strategy doc and left alone with a blank dashboard. We get the words written, the system set up, and the process clear enough that you can keep it moving along.

Hi, I’m Kathy!

My seventh-grade English teacher told our class to “keep it simple, stupid,” and somehow that became one of the most useful pieces of professional advice I’ve ever gotten.

Since then, I’ve spent many years working alongside small businesses helping with communication, strategy, and the systems that keep everything running. No matter the industry, I kept seeing smart people with incredible expertise and passion getting buried under messy messaging and scattered marketing because they were trying to do all the things.

So, Simply Put Co. was built around the opposite: keeping things simple.

And simple does not mean boring, basic, or watered down. It means knowing what matters, what can wait, and what is just not worth your time.

Small business owners are a scrappy, resourceful, slightly delusional group

(I say that with love, and as one of us)...we like to believe we can, and should, do everything ourselves. But your time, energy, and money are limited, and not every shiny new platform, content idea, or “expert” recommendation deserves a piece of them. We’ll determine the few key things that will actually move the needle for your business, and then make those excellent.

And yes, I use AI as an assistant. But your final copy comes from a human brain, who understands your business, your clients, and the fact that trust does not sound like aggressive em dashes, buzzword triads, and a weird little TED Talk on every page. How old school!

Working together is an investment. But if you’re constantly stressing about your marketing, you’re already paying for it with your time, energy, and sanity. What would it feel like if you could let that go? What else could you focus on instead?

You do not need to do everything. You need to do what matters most. So let’s make it simple, make it work, and move on.

Next steps?
